Kate Chopin’s THE AWAKENING (Part 1 of 5)

I loved Kate Chopin’s 1899 novel, THE AWAKENING. So much so that I wanted at one point to turn it into a comic so that I could see up close how it worked and why exactly the story had moved me. I wanted to know precisely the way in which Chopin was able to make this world seem like reality. I got 27 pages in and then was distracted by paying work. I’ll be showing you the results in five installments.
